I would like to Congratulate all of our Quickfeet athletes who participated in the Utah State Track & Field Championships this past weekend at BYU.

100 Meters:

Yep, we had 5 of the 9 finalist in the 3A Finals!!

200 Meters:
1. Olivia Leavitt 25.56 (State Champion)

100 Hurdles:
1. Olivia Leavitt 14.72 (State Champion)
5. Tiera Orr 15.73
7. Kaylee Carter 15.85

300 Hurdles:
1. Olivia Leavitt 43.84 (State Champion)
2. Kaylee Carter 44.83

Long Jump:
1. Abby Taylor 18'-06.75" (State Champion)
3. Tiera Orr 17'-02"

High Jump:
6. Tiera Orr 4'-11"

4X100
3.  Kaylee and Starlee represented Dixie High and finished 3rd. Jenny Stewart's Snow Canyon team finished 5th. She was also a part of the 7th place Medley Relay team.

Olivia, Abby & Tiera scored 72 of Desert Hills 84 team points!!!! Desert Hills finished 2nd in the Team Points!

Shot Put:
1. Blake Kvarfordt 53'-9.25" (State Champion)

Discus:
1. Blake Kvarfordt 160'-10.75" (State Champion)

Chris Poulsen a Freshman on Snow Canyon's 4X100, Medley and 4X400 was a HUGE contributor.  The 4X100 Team finished 8th (3rd All-Time at School), Medley finished 8th (2nd All-Time) and 4X400 finished 9th with a new School Record of 3:27.84!  Chris ran the 2nd fastest time on the team in this relay!  He is the fastest Freshman in the State 1A-5A in the 200 and 2nd in the 400!
