Practice schedule for the week of June 26-30

WOW, what a weekend!  Congratulations to all of our Quickfeet athletes that competed in Boise (Region 11 meet) and in Sacramento (USA Jr. Outdoor Nationals).  It is such an HONOR to work with each of you!  Here are our results (top 5 qualify for Jr. Olympics):

Dominique McKenzie: 3rd 100 PR 12.33

Jaslyn Gardner: 15th at USA jr. Nationals 200

As you can see ALL of our athletes that competed at the Region Meet Qualified for the Jr. Olympics!!!!  14 NEW PR's!!  AMAZING!!  Great job again athletes and a big shout out to Coach Ben Martin for all his help this year!!!

Practice Schedule for the week of June 19-24

Hey Team,
Congratulations to those athletes that were able to compete at the Utah Summer Games!  We had some fantastic performances in some HOT conditions!  This is a HUGE week so here is this weeks schedule.

Monday-Wednesday
6:30-8am Distance
7:30-9:30am Sprinters/Hurdlers

Thursday-Saturday
Usatf Region 11 Meet in Meridian, Idaho at Mountain View High School.  Top 5 in each event qualify for the Jr Olympics in Kansas next month.

Friday-Saturday
One of our Quickfeet athletes (Jaslyn Gardner) has qualified for the USA JR Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, California.  She may be the only Utah High School athlete that has ever qualified for this meet.  She will be competing against athletes that are 20yrs and under (yes some College athletes).

Remember to HYDRATE (Its going to be HOT!!) and get your REST!

Practice schedule for the week of June 12-17

Hey Team,
So we had a great showing at the Utah State Meet this past weekend in Draper.  So proud of our athletes and how well they performed after only 5 practices.  Here is this weeks schedule:
Monday-Thursday
6:30-8:00am Distance runners
7:30-9:30am Sprinters/Jumpers/Throwers

Friday and Saturday is the Utah Summer Games in Cedar City.  For those competing you will need to go to larryhmillerutahsummergames.org  you can sign-up for whatever events you want online.  Let me know if you have any questions.
Remember to get your rest and HYDRATE!!!!

Schedule for the week of June 5th-10th

Sorry for the late post tonight.  I literally just got back from New Mexico for the Great Southwest Track Meet.  We had a LONG drive...lol.  So here is the schedule for this week.

Monday-Wednesday
6:30-8am Distance Runners
7:30-9:30am Sprinters
Hurdlers and Jumpers will stay after the Sprinters practice to work on those events.
9:00-11:00am Throwers

Thursday-Saturday
State Meet at Corner Canyon High in Salt Lake

Don't freak out that it is this week and the kids may not be as ready.  Our State moves every athlete through to the Region Meet in 3 weeks.  This is the one we need to be ready for.  Please make sure all your athletes have registered on usatf.org (The link is above in the first post of this page).  Let me know if you have any questions.
It is HOT so remember to HYDRATE and get your REST!!
