First of all a HUGE Congrats goes out to Myley Alexander and Lily Poulton who represented the Quickfeet Track Club at the USATF Junior Olympic National Finals in Kansas.  Both athletes ran PR's in each of their races under extremely Hot and Humid conditions (Record Heat)!!
This past weekend Laveni Vaka, Colton Barber, Sydney Larson, Tiera Orr, Jenny Stewart, Kaylee Carter and Starlee Woodbury all competed at the Hershey National Finals.  Each athlete competed extremely well.  The Relay Team of Carter, Orr, Stewart and Woodbury WON the National Championship!!  Also, Laveni Vaka WON the National Title in the 50 Meter Dash!!  Sydney Larson took 3rd in the Long Jump and Colton Barber took 7th in the 800 Meters.  I was so proud of all our Athletes at both of these Championships on and off the Track!!  In our first year we had incredible success not only at the local, State and Regional levels but at the National Championships!!  Each of you played a role in helping these athletes succeed at the highest of levels during our practices.
Practice schedule for this week is as follows:
Tuesday--Thursday: Practice from 7-9am @ Dixie College
This will be the last week of practice as school will be starting the following week for all of us.  If you have any questions please call me.  Have a Wonderful last week until school starts!
